Since the last round of applications, the number of Sending Partners has increased, therefore more and more students have the chance to apply for the scholarship to study in Hungary. At the time of writing, 60 Sending Partners are engaged in the programme throughout 5 different continents. With the number of Stipendium Hungaricum applicants, the number of available scholarship places is also increasing. In the academic year 2018/2019 approximately 5000 students can begin their studies in Hungary in the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme.
Similarly to the previous Calls for Applications, the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships are available for bachelor, master, one-tier master, doctoral (and in some cases, preparatory and specialisation non-degree) programmes. Both full degree and exchange study modes are available, depending on the specific Sending Partner.
Important information:

Deadline for submitting the complete application package: 16 February 2018.
Applications shall also be submitted to the responsible authority of the Sending Partner.

We highly advise all applicants to carefully read the Call for Applications as it has many changes from the last year’s call , start to prepare the application documents, write the motivation letter and – in case of doctoral applicants – visit the website of the preferred higher education institutions about the details of their doctoral programmes.

If you're interested in knowing more about the process (Bsc, Msc and PhD), quote me here. I believe the sole purpose of nairaland is sharing useful information for people to see. So why do you want to sideline people that may have no access to whatsApp. Please lets change our mindset on this whatsApp of a thing and let the main purpose of this thread be achieved.

Yes, they give out transcripts which is the results you are been given every term. Are you applying for BSc, MSc or PhD? .

For BSc, you need your secondary school leaving certificate which is WAEC. Furthermore, if you can get your secondary school transcripts, fine. you can include your WAEC with it.

For MSc, only your BSc transcripts is sufficient (u don't need any secondary school transcripts).

For PhD, Msc and Bsc transcripts are both needed. (u don't need any secondary school transcripts).

Lastly, I advise you to read the instructions very well before submitting your application.

Concerning the language proficiency, is it compulsory to take the test? If not, how do we go about it?

Yes it is compulsory you take the test. However if you haven't taken the test yet, all you need do is to upload a declaration stating that you will write it and upload the certificate before August 1.

Furthermore, I advice you to send a message to the graduate school of your choice. They will provide more useful information concerning the English language proficiency. It differs according to course/graduate schools.

Thank you! I will go ahead and schedule the next test. two of my choice schools require B2 and the third, C1.
Que 1: For the declaration, is it enough to write/indicate the delay in that field provided or it must be uploaded as a typed or written document in the section provided for document uploads? I hope my question isn't confusing.

Ques 2: I was reading through the website and saw where they adviced contacting the sending partner in charge of the country. How do i go about that?
