on what ground does ezenwa merit a super eagle call up?,is he the best in the npfl?,was he 1st choice at ifeanyi ubah fc last season?,can he become enyimba 1st next season??..Rohr wants to take a gk that is poor in aerial balls,crosses and has poor positioning to the wc.both he and akpeyi at their age btw 28 to 30 dont even know the basics of goalkeeping.. Our goalkeeper trainer,alloy agu is trying to force on us akpeyi and ezenwa just as shorunmu forced agbbim on us and we all knew how it went..Dele Ajiboye of plateau united and nassarawa united gk who kept a total of 16 clean sheets in the last campaign are viable options for chan.in carl and enyeama absence,uzoho should be our 1st choice..

Why are we not considering Dele Aiyenugba? Am sure he is better than all the keepers presently playing for us. Sure, it will be for the short while since he is old. But after the world cup, we can search for a keeper that will be for long term

Enyeama is clubless! When last did he play? He will come and scatter the team again. He should stay away from the Super Eagles ooo. He should remain retired

No mind them, always underrating themselves,...... It was the same way folks like him kept overrating cameroon players (african champions), algeria players before the world cup qualifiers . I wont forget Bosnia & H at the 2014 world cup also.

Is Dele Aiyenugba still keeping ? or are you talking of Alampasu? I know Enyeama was injured, and just returned last week. We still have 6 months before the world cup, in the next 3 months if he can prove himself, he can be convinced to come back. Experience can not be bought, it is the world cup in contention here.

The options of keepers we have now are looking so average and inexperienced. What that means is that we cant afford to close the option of bringing in experience. Had the other second keeper not fallen ill to leukemia, i wouldn't have felt there is a need to consider Enyeama.

Vincent Enyeama finally returns to action for Lille



Vincent Enyeama Saturday returned to action for the first time in over seven months.

The former Super Eagles captain played for Lille’s U-18s in their 3-1 win over Croix in the French fourth tier.

Enyeama, who has been the club’s number one goalie, sustained a knee injury in April and has been sidelined for closed to eight months.

However, the goalkeeper has fought his way back to full fitness after undergoing surgery.

The then Enyimba goalkeeper posted a picture of himself after the game in his team’s dressing room with a message of gratitude beneath it on his Twitter handle.

He wrote, “God has been so faithful. 7 months and some weeks,God has taken me up. I had my 1st game.I want to thank everyone that worked for this day to happen.God bless you all.”


There has been speculations that the 35-year-old could be recalled to help Nigeria in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Dele Aiyenugba is still keeping and he is the first choice in his club. Is Dele not experienced? Let's not being someone that want to play for us because he needs us and not because he is patriotic. If you bring Enyeama, he will bring factions into the team and scatter it again

I've never seen a Nigerian goalkeeper as confident as Enyeama. But he's not been in action for some time and i don't think he's interested.

The guy is back on training after 8month injury he even save a penalty leading to their 3-1 victory....Enyeama all the way Francis Uzoho may be a substitute for enyeama in case of injury or carded offense
