There are provisions in the bible where God says give your tithe to the poor homeless fatherless etc.
Somewhere in Deuteronomy. You don't know this because no Nigerian pastor will preach about it.

That is your personal practice and not in the scriptures. It should not be preached in church as doctrine.

Tithe is never a requirement for Christians. Even under the Law, not everyone paid tithes.

Tithe was land-based and there was no way people like carpenters, fishermen, e.t.c. paid tithes. Tithe was to support temple workers and the poor. It was a sort of food program and it was a tenth of an increase, not income.

Do you also know tithes are meant for Levites? Do you also know it was practised by the Jewish people? Do you know they have stopped receiving tithes because the temple has been destroyed? Do you also know they won't collect tithe until after the temple has been rebuilt? Do you also know that they are other jewish laws that the criminal pastors are supposed to adhere to if they claim to be Jewish? Laws like sabbath and animal sacrifices? Why single out tithe, because it enriches them. Do you also know the tithe is supposed to be farm produce which you are supposed to eat in the temple amongst the Levites and needy?
