Ogun state a state with tremendous clusters of Industries and Universities/higher institutions.

Omo Ogun Ise ya!
God bless Ogun state
God bless SW Nigeria
God bless Yoruba land.
Yes we are happy our region is the most industrialised in the whole of Nigeria, but another thing yoruba leaders should be verry mindful of is the ethnic groups of the people working with all the companies in our region.
The staff of every company in yoruba land should be 70% yoruba youths, other tribes can take the remaining 30%.
Untill we start doing it this way outsiders might just be benefiting more from those companies than the average yoruba youth/man.

Yoruba first should be the watchword because this is what others are doing.

May God keep blessing our region.

God bless you. We need massive awareness for our youths. We have enemies on all sides but we can still allow northerners to work in these plants as long as we keep an eye on them. They might be violent when it comes to issues of religion but they dont HATE us to the bones.

Yoruba first policy is commendable and should be pursued vigorously.

you are verry correct that northerners don't hate us that much like one tribe we are sharing the southern part of Nigeria with. The people of this tribe are verry suspicion of us but they can't do without our region.
It's because of the people of that tribe i think the yoruba first policy in all companies should be activated asap in our region.

Lets bring it to the attention of the OGSG and i am sure they would do something about it.

They are aware. It's a federal project which has already been captured in 2017&2018 budget.

Oh my God, the awareness has gone round. The children of oduduwa have woken up! Now liberals are turning to conservatives. Praise be to olodumare.

We never deserved their hate and now we are self aware.

God bless you.

The Sango-Ifo-Abeokuta is part of the 3rd tier project Fashola captured in infrastructural development for 2017 budget but lack of funds has made it a recurrent capital project for 2018 budget.

When they were building Lagos, your grandfathers were hawking at Iddo terminus.

When the Western Region was building Industrial Estates in Ilupeju, Ikeja and Oluyole, you said Lagos is No-man's-land. Yet, you travel from Abakaliki to Lasgidi to hawk ice water.

Now that Ogun State has become an industrial hub, you're saying it's because Lagos lacks land. I wonder how someone from a region where the combined landmass of their 5 states is not up to Oyo state knows about land.

Stay there and be talking nonsense.
Your fathers sold ice water to the labourers while they were building Infrastructure and industrial estates in Lagos.
You are presently coming from Abakaliki to Lasgidi to hawk gala and fan yoga.
You see that Agbara, your children would still hawk there too.

When you refuse to take your destiny into your hands, you'll feed on the dregs of other people's dreams.

Chai! Guy, where is thy chill? The dude offend you before? Chisos!

Great investment, in an estate with a horrible road network. The road to this Estate will make you cry yet it's the biggest in the state and one of the biggest in the country, a shame to the governor.

Is there a way the State Government can get resources to do the road by extracting a reimbursement from the Federal Government later?

I doubt it, that road has been in a sorry state for more than a decade, it's the "Oshodi Apapa" express way of Ogun state. Spins so much money yet neglected. Ogun state is a big disappointment when it comes to road.

It's not as if the state doesn't have the resources but FG don't want to grant the request. They feel the state government will inflate the spending on the road and also use inferior construction company for the project.

@ Phipex, they are working well in Abeokuta and Ijebu Ode roads.

I hope Ogun state can achieve this feat in Agbara-atan road, Sagamu-papalanto road, Sagamu- Ikorodu road, Akute-Sango road

Are you sure you have been to Ogun state lately.... improvements daily, expanded roads, very soon the rail network from Ibadan to Abeokuta, Sagamu to Abeokuta, Iju to Abeokuta would be completed....the survey has been done n work has started.... Ongoing road projects nearing completion in the state.

The govt should just focus on improving the Ifo to Iyana Ipaja axis....lobatan....
