I can't say if it's right to invite Majek Fashek to perform in church but you can't compare Majek and Obesere.
Majek though had a drug/Igbo abuse habit but his songs are universally positive unlike Obesere who sing obscene songs for sensuality mostly.
They are musically worlds apart.

Majek has d ryt to praise or acknowledge God for wateva reasons (even d demons believe and dey shudder-James 2:19), but that is entirely different from being endorsed to enter into a place supposedly called God's house. 1 Cor 15:33 "do not be misled, bad association spoils useful habit or good manners". Are we to say since Majek was into drugs before, all his songs should therefore be condemned? As inspirationally as his songs are I dont see any Church condemning them. Moreover, Majek like Freeze would say needs TAP also for the fact that he has repent from his drug-taking days, he should be an example for those still on drug to change their ways, accept Jesus into their life. This man Majek needs love not sympathy to move on with his life. So, Freeze misfired this time.
