I was worried when the senate screened and cleared Hajia Turai Yaradua in absentia as minister-designate. This is indeed the acting president's gross mistake. Mrs Yaradua is very very ambitious and having her as a cabinet minister would not only cause divided loyalty but confusion in the polity. Jonathan should decline swearing her in if he wants to have peace. |
