But pdp under Jonathan looted Nigeria to it's knees.

Alisson Nadueke,Madam Peace Ebele,Senator David Mark, hope you get it now?

So when someone comes with a mandate to end all of these, what do you want those pensioners who queue for days just to get the Government's small stipends do?

Forgive them for not having X-ray machine to know what Buhari had in stock.
Even they were payed pensions everyday,it would still not be able to buy an X-ray machine
That is the narrative that the propaganda machinery of the APC sold to gullible Nigerians. The press is complicit in selling that narrative. Some of us are professionally affiliated with the media, and we know exactly how the media can be used or misused in furtherance of certain narrow interests. Truth is that corruption is a Nigerian problem, not a Jonathan government problem or a PDP or APC problem. We have to take corruption as a given. The key thing is competence to deliver some level of good governance In spite of corruption. That is where Buhari is sorely lacking. The incompetent old fool has never managed anything successfully in his life, so what we have now is pure corruption worsened by incompetence.

Unless you're living under a rock, you would have heard about the monumental corruption going on today, right under this very government. Most of it is even unreported in the media, and those that manage to leak in the press go unpunished by Buhari. And even worse, the little funds available after much has been stolen by Buhari and his people are not used well due to stark incompetence of the man and his cabinet members. So what's the point really?

Well spoken but I've come to see that we always miss past Presidents after a while from Obj to Yar'Adua to Gej.
I'm confidently sure that by the middle of 2020, we'll be missing buhari once again and I begin to as myself, what is wrong with my people?

You are quite right .We are in a real mess .Almost a hopeless situation as the Judiciary has also been fingered in the bad behaviors permeating our society. Sir if I may ask ,what's the way out of this problems ? A practical and pragmatic solution .

Nigerians erroneously believe that "change" means a better life and cheaper foods. It is not and the basis of their failure as a people. Change starts from within. The change Nigerians desperately need begins with self reflection. To move forward, they have to admit to themselves that their actions in the last 50 years have been below par and they have to change the way they view what is normal and acceptable. What they have been doing so far is a man engaging in the same acts that have failed him and expecting a different result. The psychological rape Nigerians have subjected to in the last 50 years has completely destroyed every fiber of decency they have. It is so bad that a 15 year old has already understood the concept of what a "sharp guy" is. How do you grow a nation is the youthful foundation is already corrupted? How?

It may really be difficult .I'm tired .Can a totalitarian government , probably an honest military government solve the problems the way we almost had it in 1983 - 1985 of buhari/ idiagbon to put people on the right path ?

Yes it can. In fact, that is what Nigeria needs. The alternative, which is war must never be considered. They need to be jarred towards the right path. Take Ghana for example. Believe it or not but Ghana was just as bad as Nigeria till Rawlings took power by force. The first he did was round up all the bad politicians and Soldiers and wiped them out. Ghana is better of for it today.

I voted PMB, I don't regret it. I am still proud based on all economic indexes pre and after 2015 election. I didn't listen to the campaign rhetorics, I didn't have unrealistic goals for the PMB administration. So far, I am satisfied with their level of work.

It is so funny that majority of those spreading bile never voted for PMB, never expected him to win, never even want him to succeed. If PMB is bad, ask them who are the better options, they will tell you Nnamdi Kanu, GEJ, PEJ, Saraki, Atiku, David Mark, FFK, Fayose, El Zackzaky etc. PMB was and still is a better option than the last administration. If we complain now, it would have been worse if we had allowed the last administration to continue.

I can confidently tell you that nobody would miss Buhari ever, except those thieves and hirelings that benefitted from his administration. His government is the worst in Nigeria's history. He even managed to 'better' his own record...by being worse than his 1983-1985 clueless self. Absolutely nothing has been achieved under him - not even the much vaunted war on corruption (that's the most painful part). The NNPC is still a cesspool of corruption as it has always been, government officials are still looting funds, but yet they escape without punishment (Lawal, Kyari , ministers, IGP, etc), new heights of corruption are being reached under him (reinstatement of wanted criminals like Maina), etc.

To make matters worse, infrastructure development is zero, inflation is unprecedented, circulation of money in the economy is restricted to an all time low (making purchasing power lower than ever), crime is spiralling out of control more than ever before (wanton kidnappings, Fulani herdsmen killing, etc). So what good would this fool called Buhari be remembered for?
