Why You Need To be Spiritual In 2018

Once again, you're welcome into the new year 2018. While you are rejoicing your being alive to witness the new year and setting goals, it is quite important to set goals that will make you spiritual too. It is no news that being spiritual is a lot beneficial and helpful in fulfilling one's potential.

The Lord has placed it upon my heart to share with you two reasons among many why you need to be spiritual in 2018. It will be my joy as well as that of God if you can consider these reasons and run the 2018 race spiritually. As you read through, may God bless you abundantly in Jesus name.

It is important to note that your being alive is never by your might or power, it is by God's spirit (Zech. 4:6b). The simple truth is that God has granted you another opportunity to fulfill His purpose for your life. The issue is that God is spirit and can only be interacted with in the spirit (John 4:24). So, if you need to know God's plan for your life and how to fulfill it, you need to be spiritual.

The second reason why you need to be spiritual in 2018 is just as Rom. 13:11 put it that our salvation is more nearer now. Therefore, you need to get up and get prepared for the coming of the Lord Jesus. It is high time you remember and live with the mindset that He will come soon. If you notice the series of events around the world, it is clear that we are living in the last days as prophecies are being fulfilled. You can't afford to be caught unawares. It is too risky. Don't end up like the five unwise virgins in Matt 25. Read and meditate on Rev 22:12-13

Just before you drop this, if you have not given your life to Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and saviour, here is another opportunity to do. Please note that salvation is not in any other name other than the name of Jesus Christ (Act 4:12). This is irrespective of who your parents are, where you're born, what you do in church or community, your personality etc. Genuine salvation through Jesus Christ is the only answer and assurance for eternity in peace. That's when whatever you are doing for God can be acceptable. Simply confess your sins and acknowledge Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and it shall be well with your soul.
