Following the kidnap of a Traditional ruler’s wife, Inegbagha Tina, in Benue State recently, Family members of Tina has disclosed that the suspected abductors have demanded N5 million ransom before she could be released.

It would be recalled that the abductee who was said to be a wife to the ruler of Ayakoro community in Ogbia Local Government Area of the state was abducted alongside the Principal of the Government Craft Development Centre in the Community on December 16, 2017, at the palace of her husband.

It was gathered that the suspected kidnappers were able to establish contact with the victim’s family member recently, thereby giving room for negotiating ransoms.
