The Minister of Labour and Employment , Dr. Chris Ngige, has said President Muhammadu is desirous to give Nigerian workers an enhanced pay package this year .

He said the thinking of the Federal Government was to approve a minimum wage that would be acceptable to all stakeholders .
Ngige stated this in a chat with journalists at Ifitedunu, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State .

He said a National Tripartite Committee set up by President Buhari on minimum wage had commenced work and would likely conclude arrangements on the exercise in the third quarter of this year .
He said , “We had our inaugural meeting on 14 th December and we did a framework for our work .
“ We will finish our job before the third quarter of this year , but we may finish earlier .

“ Minimum wage is a national matter and only the federal government can legislate on it . Labour matter and the issue of national minimum wage is in the Exclusive List .

“ President Buhari is monitoring it strictly, and I am monitoring it too.
“ I wear a double cap as minister of labour , who is the regulator and also as the deputy chairman of the committee . ”

Ngige said the committee would work to come out with an acceptable minimum wage , saying that the Nigerian Governors Forum , representatives of the Nigerian workers , and the Nigerian Employers Consultative Assembly make up the committee .

This hopeless jobbers just created stupid portfolios for themselves to eat sitting allowances for almost one year while grand-standing the people and playing to the galleries.

This motherfuckas!

Which kind "swinging into action" will take you 8-9 months just to finesse wages and salary structure, while working on templates already extensively researched by a previous administration? Or, do they think people are so lizard-brained like them that we would forget that wage increment is not anovel innovation synonymous with tthis dysfunctional govt of misfits, dead men and mentally crippled liars?

And, they said dey were not "dangling carrots"! They postured that they were not using the pay-scale issue as a "2019 electioneering bait"!

That leave the Nigerian masses and workers to groan under the weight of multiple taxation regimes, enforced poverty by high level currency devaluation, insecurity on all fronts, lack of necessary support structures, no socio-financial security framework whatsoever while living large on heavy emoluments and benefits; who are the bastards hailing these fools sef?

Isn't a shame that we boast almost the highest paid Senate yet budgetary allocations on crucial sectors like education, health, agriculture, science & tech, mines etc are always low while corruption allegations always trail our budgets like flies on fresh, hot $hit because all of them polithiefcians and their civil service lackeys would take turns loading it like how all dogs'd scramble to mate the one lone bitcch on heat, ehn?

Damn shame, the zoo must fall!

To any gullible fool who is still thinking the president's misbegotten wastrel of a whelp is still in one national hospital or the other, I've got news for you, DSS boys are just guarding an empty hospital wing, the boy is long gone. Flown out, for your taxes to be wasted saving his unworthy, scrawny neck!
