On the map showing the counrtries where scholarship recipents came from, No nigerian was represented on it.

For 2017, the picture is just showing the highest scholarship recipients worldwide. That doesn't mean no one secured the scholarship from Nigeria. I can categorically tell you that 14 Nigerians got it in 2017.

For 2018, the numbers who got it is actually more than the "1 or 2" you mentioned. So far this year, we have a greater number of recipients that 2017. But we are still no where near Egypt and Ethiopia in Africa.

I believe you've not made proper findings. So....there you have it.

Lol... By the time you come back, you hear that people have finished admission processing two weeks ago and are now procuring visa for both FGC & UK. You ask "how? You didn't get any email". Then you check your spam and see yours. .

I sincerely hope that we are many with positive news on this thread. I ENJOYED every bit of the "troubling comments" but my God that I bow to has vindicated me FOR HE SAYS BE AND IT IS. My weaknesses couldn't stop my shine.

AWARD OF 2018/2019 PTDF GERMANY/FRANCE/CHINA AND UK STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) announces the release of the names of successful awardees for the 2018/2019 Germany/France/China and UK Strategic Partnership Scholarships. The recipients of the award (listed below) are those candidates who have presented the Fund with the highest academic qualifications and have been able to present a convincing case for the relevance and application of their proposed study to the Nigerian Oil and gas industry.

Admissions will be sought by the Fund on behalf of the successful candidates using their submitted credentials, but candidates may be contacted by the Fund or the relevant school to provide further information and may have to personally complete the school’s application and admissions processes.

Induction exercises, including the award ceremony and necessary documentation, are to be held at the PTDF Towers Abuja for recipients of both awards as follows:

* Induction of Germany/France/China Strategic Partnership awardees: Monday the 16th – Friday the 21st of July, 2018

* Induction of UK Strategic Partnership awardees: Monday the 30th of July – Friday the 3rd of August, 2018.
