Following the decision of the government of Kaduna State to sack the teachers that are believed to be allegedly unqualified as a result of their inability to get 75% in the appraisal tests carried out by the state government, the Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC) together with other civil society groups have staged a massive protest in Kaduna.

Infformation reaching us is that many teachers have come out to show their grieavances to the government's refusal to call back these sacked persons.

Kaduna state government claims that the employer ( state) retains the power to hire and fire any staff that falls short of the standard and agreed or perceived best practice.

Despite the redeployment of 8,000 Police allegedly requested for by the Governor to stop NLC Protest Massive protest currently going on at Kaduna metropolis.

but he should have posted them to other sector where they can still be useful instead of sacking them na

the problem with this sack today is because of the nigeria usual way of employment;
