The Britain Prime Minister, Theresa May, has appointed a Tracy Touch, a junior Minister for Sport and Civil Society, as “Minister for Loneliness”, to tackle “the sad reality of modern life” which was said to have affected millions of people.

May explained that the reason for the new office was to confront challenges facing the Uk, and the officer would serve as a measure to address loneliness usually endured by the elderly.

Asides the elderly who she said was affected, the PM added that others who were affected included those who have lost loved ones, people who have no one to talk to or share their thoughts and experiences with.
