Hello,
It is a common knowledge that the Trinity consist of the God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit as i have always known it to be. The almighty God can be called several names the same way Jesus Christ is sometimes called the Lamb of God. The issue is, I overheard a preacher who usually does early morning evangelism within the area insisting that the third person in the Trinity can only be referred to as the Holy Spirit and not Holy Ghost. He was emphasizing that referring to the third person in the Trinity as Holy Ghost is a misplace priority and a sin.

Please share your views about the above stated because I have always used Holy Spirit & Holy Ghost interchangeably.

The term "Holy Ghost" is from the ancient king James english, the first english bible. It's old english, the right word should be "Holy Spirit". A ghost is a spirit of a dead person.
