Osun State is OK in term of electricity, health care and it's affordable even for a low class citizen. But poor Economy

osogbo n for d airport is capital No... housing is expensive. transportation is not expensive either. u can get a three bed room apartment for 150-200k .

He was in power for 7 good years. Now he's leaving, he gave them state commissioners. He is leaving, he's conducting local govt elections. IF Aregbesola actually meant well for Osun state, should he be doing this now of all times that he has less than 10 months to vacate the office? These politicians will start dying one after the other very soon one day for using the destinies of masses that voted them in with their lives to play LUDO. How could he be this heartless? And he's still busy paying half salary. My sister, who is a matron in the state just told me like 20mins ago that they received half of the Dec salary just last week. People actually celebrated XMAS and NEW YEAR without salary? WICKEDNESS!!!!!!!!

My brother, this is outright wickedness & rape of democracy. After running a "one man govt" for over 7yrs!

Osun state is one of the best state to serve in Nigeria they have many developed town and most of the town in Osun have higher institution and things are cheap in Osun.... but ritualist stuff common among those gboys make your cousin know that.

Well am pretty sure your cousin will definitely enjoys his stay here in the land of the living spring. I am confident in saying Osun has the most stable electricity here in the SW,we are friendly and accommodating people ,he do finds a nice and affordable apartment to stay during his service term to,if he is a party lover there are lots of night clubs here to suit his taste and lot of bars to quench his thirst. I cant really say much about our health sector but i know there are still some good and standard hospitals here too.

Bro, I was saying the same thing on hearing the news. The sister state I.e has not had LG elections ever too. All state institution workers are paid 25% of their salaries since 2016.it's not fair how they treat us

Our airfield is still under construction for the past 5 years,you will be able to hunt antelope and bush meats there...lol....If you coming down you can get affordable apartment at dada estate,kobogbogboe,agunbelewo or oke baale these areas area very quiet and lively too. Agunbelewo is where we have a lot of hotels and bar along the street road,Dada Estate is much more like a semi business hub,KOBOGBOGBOE is mainly residential while Oke baale is where we have the university

Osun State is okay for NYSC. I also served there.

I have lived in osun state practically all my life. Lived in ilesa and ife. Osun state is about the most peaceful state right now.
Food is very cheap, transport as well, housing is a bit on the high side particularly where there are higher institutions but you will still get a room going for as low as 25k per annum.
Power supply is really good and night life is OK. If your cousin is able to serve in ilesa, Ife or osogbo that will be great, the other towns are less interesting to stay in but getting to the three main towns is within 30 mins if you have a car.
Service is just for a year so he will enjoy his stay, just don't try to feel too proud among the natives and you'll be fine.
