Imagine a city like Lagos where traffic is a norm there, its only in Lagos you can spend 12 hours in a traffic and more. Torrot may be the answer after all, not only is it classy, but also unique in the sense that it has some safety elements for the driver and his passenger

Small and busy streets wouldn’t stop you from cruising around the city with Torrot Velocípedo. It’s a conceptual all-electric three-wheeled vehicle that features agility just like a motorcycle yet with a safety like a car. Designed as an interconnected vehicle, Velocípedo aims to revolutionize personal urban mobility as we know it today. Featuring two front wheels and upper dome, this unit is designed with comfort and safety in mind, you can drive around the city with agility while emitting zero contaminated emissions. It’s an ideal alternative to combustion vehicles.

There are a three-point belt system and seats with full back support, making rider safe and comfortable when riding Torrot Velocípedo. The lightweight construction makes it ideal for both women and men, it’s practical and easy to use, while the user interface systems make it as one of the most technologically advanced vehicles in its category.

For starters can't u see Its an electric car, when countries are trying to ditch fossil fuel that destroys our planet, yet u backward race (Africans) want to keep wallowing and being enmeshed in green house gas emissions from fuel cars.

The world is moving forward by running away from fossil fuels.

Whats your take on this?

Can this work in Lagos or Nigeria?

If it was designed, manufactured and assembled as well as continuously improved in Nigeria, then surely.
That way, we have a pool of skilled technicians and spares for maintenance.
Otherwise we remain in our shittyhole condition of using the small change, dashed to us by oyinbos exploiting our natural resources, to buy flashy things that will soon be packed up due to poor roads and poor maintenance.
Is that wise

That’s Keke Napep with the wheels reversed.

Normal Keke has one wheel at the front and two at the back. This one has one at the back and two at the front.

...If you sell an ekuke dog to buy a cat, you are still living with a ‘4legged animal’.

Re: Torrot: A Vehicle Made For Lagos Traffic by IForgotMyLoginD(f): 8:45am On Feb 08, 2018
Haha! Even with this, there’ll still be a Torrot traffic. Traffic can never seize in naija. Even with wider lanes. Cos we are impatient. And we all can’t drive.

That’s why when we travel abroad, we still go back to driving school before we can get a license. Lol.

you think communual inefficiency is the problem? am afriad i doubt that even though it maybe one of the problem...in lagos is where you will see a man with 5 car's that will take him to work, his wife and kids to school all plying the same route to the same house...
we have brt buses, danfo, taxify, uber, taxes, and all sort and yet there is always a mojor traffic simply because we don't obey traffic rules infact some animals are even organize than some humans...we just drive anyhow and this vehicle that they are introducing tell me how many people will like to ply sef...
