the guy die because of his foolishness . he was not directly in charge of feeding lion , he was supose to hand over the lions meal to the actual zoo keeper who is in charge of feedin the lions. but he foolishly went n open the cage were the lions were kept . the lion on seeing a bigger n fresher meat bounced on him. the mumu people incharge of the zoo section were. not full equipt to capture , and strict the lion on rampage instead the idiots went to call the police to assist them in capturing the lion which was already on lozz! trust the nigerian police now no body wants to be meat for an hungry lion soo they refushed. the lion later went back to its cage peacefully! without any force! in developed countries zoos usually have tranquilizers for spcl cases like this .

the zoo managers must be killed for starving the poor creature. anyways it has already been condemned to a lifetime in prizon (cage). killing it wont make much of a difference

Don't say what u don't know. There is a mini zoo in gamji park. I live very close to d place.

Incidences similar to this happened in Benin and Ibadan some years back with human lives just lost due to human errors and lack of government investment in better infrastructure to cage this wild beast.

In the developed world, wild animal like lions, tigers, gorillas, hyaenas are properly secured in their zoo with properly trained officer managing them.

But in Nigeria and most part of africa, there is irregular maintenance of infrastructures of our zoo including poor feeding of the animals and this often lead to JAIL BREAK with needless human lives being taken.

THIS SAD INCIDENT IN KADUNA STATE SHOULD BE A WAKE UP CALL TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND STATES GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA TO FACE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE NIGERIAN CITIZENS.
