Heavy downpour causes high water level in Port Harcourt city today.

The rain began at about 2:30 pm as major roads like Aba road were flooded, cars and the trucks were also stucked as people fled to safety under an overhead bridge at Rumuola.

Port Harcourt will always be flooded be it small rain or heavy rain. Mr Project does substandard roads without design, no Environmental Impact Accessment (EIA) no supervision by professionals, no drainages a times where you find one the drainages are tiny which cannot not take volume of water then the last of it drainages are not channelled to anywhere like canal or creek. Some of the roads are:
1) SARS Road that links to Obiri Ikwerre airport link road
2) Rukpokwu-Eneka road
3) Rukpowu - Aluu Airport link road
4) Rumuagholu - Ngbolu Rumuigbo
5)New GRA internal roads. I can go on and on but let me make do with this few. No difference between Wike and Odili in terms of road construction life span of their roads are one year, construct in dry season and road fail in raining season of same year.
