Most people can easily import their products, but marketing that product is another issue that need to be tackled. Mistakes that I have seen people make in this mini importation business is that they will just import any product that they like or feels that people will like. When you do this, you will have a hard time selling that product off.

There are two things that needs to be settled before you can go ahead to import any item that you want to sell.

1. Product Research: You need to know if the product that you are about to import is marketable. Does it have quality? Never go for products with inferior quality. It will hurt your business. Will it solve a problem in people's everyday life? Do you think people will be willing to buy it at the price you want to sell it? All this questions have to be thoroughly answered through your research before you even decide to buy the product or not.

2. Market Research: Who are my customers? Where are they? Do you have a competitor selling that particular product? Will you break into the market easily and break even if you choose to sell this product?
How will you sell this product fast so you can get enough turnovers to continue this business?
