He should just bear in mind that, he has to stop and try and be strict with it .

It's an addiction. So you can't advise a bloodydrinker to quit drinking when a bar is just opposite his place or residence .

As you have rightfully said , its an addiction , someone who is addicted to something , would find another way to please his addiction .And its very easy (his phone) , no matter where he is and if he has internet connection he would do it again .
So my point is relocation alone wont solve the problem

Yes i totally understand you Sir .I think his addiction is frequently visiting the bet shop since it's very accessible to him. Relocating him will give him some kind of restrictions.

Sure He could still do it online but it won't be as flexible to him cos he's been used to shops. And also "funding" through web won't that easy to him. He might just take his mind off it once he gets something doing

People like this are better left alone than try to change them. Only time will tell. When he sees his mates whom they started life together doing so well, and his own life is nothing to write home about, that's when they always have sense.


A lesson to young guys out there. If you think you're winning big in bettings/gambling, sit down one day and calculate all the money you've spent so far on betting, then subtract it from money you've won so far... Then then yourself the truth if you're actually gaining or losing.!
