New Project Now Makes It Easy For Small Businesses To Own A Website by tomiwa900: 2:42pm On Feb 13, 2018
A project that enables small businesses in Nigeria to own a corporate website at a very low-cost has been launched by Kleva Designs.

The project, called Project Think BIG Start Small, helps small businesses in Nigeria build what it calls Start-up Website – a 7-page, scalable website that can be upgraded little by little without any downtime as the business grows.

The main thrust of the project is to help small businesses get started instead of not starting at all because of the huge cost and time usually associated with setting up comparatively big websites.

Unlike other projects of its kind where the website is usually a subdomain such as yourbizname.project123.com and usually do-it-yourself, this project offers a top-level domain, albeit .com.ng, such as www.yourbizname.com.ng and will be fully designed and maintained by the project initiators – Kleva Designs.

The website comes with some important business tools and infrastructures such as online payment, live chat, custom forms, custom emails, transactional emails, and a hosting space large enough to handle 1,000’s of traffic monthly.

According to Kleva Designs, “We discovered that most businesses in Nigeria don’t use even up to 30% of the resources of the website infrastructure we setup for them in their first year.

“And many small businesses have been contacting us to ask for a website that costs in the range of N20,000 to N30,000.

“With Project Think Big Start Small, we are scaling down the infrastructure to save cost in order to meet the pocket of these folks and help get their businesses off the ground.”

The goal of the project is help 1,000 small businesses in Nigeria own a website by December 31st 2018.
