So sad. It's possible that the groom's father had been on his neck to get married.
The sudden death of his father might have brought home the reality of his mortality to him and caused him to do the right thing expected of him.
It's also possible that the wedding announcement had already been fixed for this week and they decided to go ahead with the plan in honor of the memory of their Dad.
I wish both of them a happy and fruitful married life.
