Author's Note

Hello everyone, I want to start up a new series on NairaLand titled PrettyLiars. I'm going to start by posting the first book titled "LiesFromPrettyLips" I don't know how the whole writing on NairaLand works but I'm going to give this my best shot. I'll appreciate your support thanks a lot.




1: This book will contain a tinge of violence at some point. If you feel uncomfortable with domestic violence please skip the chapter.

2: This book will contain the use of mature languages like cursing, swearing and use of abusive words.

3: There will be typographical errors, ignore if you come across it.

4: There will be a tinge mature scenes, if you feel uncomfortable reading mature scenes skip the said chapter. There will be a warning at the top of the chapter.

5: The book will be written in third person point of view but I'll also alternate point of views. In other words every character will have their own point of view at some point.

6: Updates might be very slow please bear with me.

Other than that, I hope you enjoy the book. I will appreciate your feedback on the book once it officially starts.

PROLOGUE

Akin stared hard at the picture his personal assistant had sent to him on whatsapp. If he wasn't looking at the picture, he wouldn't have believed Oyinda. She was what people referred to as busy body and she gossiped like it was a God given talent. His eyes darkened as he looked at the couple in the picture, they were so deep in their illicit embrace and kiss that they hadn't noticed that someone had taken a picture of them. What the hell was Arin thinking?! It could've have been anybody, anybody could have taken a picture of his own wife kissing another man in public!

About two hours ago, Arinola had left the house. She'd told him in her usual sweet coaxing voice that she couldn't stay at home with him all day because she had some errands to run for her mother. And thirty minutes ago, Oyinda had sent him this picture of Arinola kissing a strange man at the shopping center in Ikeja. For the love of God her damn parents house was at Ajah, and her mother's shop was at Ikota Shopping Complex. So who the hell was this strange man kissing his wife at the Ikeja Shopping Mall? His heart pounded furiously as he thought of fifty bloody ways he could strangle her, Arinola will pay for this betrayal. Not just her, her lover and her entire family too.

This is all shades of messed up. I pray my brothers never run into a lady like Arinola, good write up by the way.

Amen!!! But Arinola is in a difficult situation too, Osaze is the only boyfriend she's ever had, she loves him but she loves her parents too. She's just trying to satisfy everyone.
