UCL defending champion Real Madrid defeated French side Paris St Germain in the first leg of the round of 16 matches played yesterday at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Spain.

French midfielder Adrien Rabiot put PSG ahead in the encounter after hitting the ball past the Real Madrid after 33 minutes of play.
