What is RMC
It's a short form for Rural ministers Conference The Practice was for believers and ministers interested in rural missions to gather and hold all day meetings Usually very strong teaching meetings in the Mornings and Afternoons and in the Evenings, they gather for Holy Ghost /Believers meetings. RMC is typical of this. We hold teaching meetings primarily during the day(Morning and Afternoon) with strong emphasis on Who we are in Christ and the Finished Work of redemption with its attendant realities and privileges and rights,while the Evenings majorly, we demonstrate the things of the Spirit in Gifts(utterance,revelation and power),with needs met in its diversities and the participants full of joy All Past meetings have had numerous testimonies of many receiving the new birth,filled with the Spirit and diverse and special miracles like in the book of acts,further more and very poignant is the receiving, development and enhancement of many believers in the work of ministry and in the things of the Spirit That's why we invite all to our ministers Conferences The venue is Jesus house auditorium along Ugwuawarawa Rd onuiyi nsukka, enugu state Nigeria. The concept of rural ministers conference was born out of the conviction that rural ministers need much more encouragement and equipping than they presently have.The rural areas are filled largely by illiterates and very poor people who depend on peasant farming. Most rural ministers are constantly battling challenges like witchcraft,poverty,idolatry,anti christian customs,illiteracy and now,terrorism in the form of fulani herdsmen.Low morale is therefore very palpable among these choice servants of God. Unfortunately,these ministers(irrespective of denomination) are ill equipped to deal with these issues.They are not well paid and in most cases are treated like second class ministers.This builds a sense of hopelessness,inferiority complex and dependalism. You simply cannot apply the methods of doing ministry which work in cities to rural or jungle areas.The context is very different.Many rural ministers are unable to effectively contextualise what they know to reach rural people effectively.This is one area that RURAL MINISTERS CONFERENCES comes in.They help the rural minister to contextualise many things and become effective. God has used these conferences to restore morale to discouraged ministers who were on the verge of quitting.Many have gone on to develop stronger ministries in the rural areas.Many have become role models in rural evangelism.Some unconverted prophets have received Christ through these conferences and quit many unscriptural practices in ministries.Whole prayer house denominations have been 'converted' to evangelical groups after their leaders attended these conferences. One challenge in hosting these conferences is that of cost.Many rural ministers,specially those in remote jungles or riverine areas can't afford the costs of travel.It is our policy to make the feeding and accomodation free of charge but they have to attend before they can benefit.That is why we are calling on all believers to help us tranport these village ministers to this conference. For ministers coming from places as far away like the Ondo Riverine,they will need up to 10k per person.Those coming from Northern Cross River jungles will need up to 6k.Those coming from the Igala/Bassa tribes located around Dekina LGA and beyond will need up to 4k.Those coming from remote areas of Ebonyi will need 3k. When they come to the conference,they will be exposed to teachings and impartations relevant to rural work.They will also receive free training resources plus other gifts. I have shared this burden with you.
