I have logged in only to commend this post This is the truth we all have a responsibility to find and speak the truth Northern Nigeria especially the North west has been ravaged by banditry for years ,whole villages have been sacked and they lie as ghost towns on the roads In these places. These same bandits are those who robbery and pillage on the roads, anyone travelling northern roads to Nassaraw ,jos and environs may have encountered them Presently it appears they are spreading their reach down south, and what have we done,we have labelled them as fulani herdsmen, forgetting that the very term fulani herdsmen connote a wide range of people, some of whom have Co existed with land owners for years, and everyone is labelling ALL fulani herdsmen as bandits attacking them and their families needlessly, they In return retaliate and the cycle continues. The real culprits meanwhile (foreign bandits ) continue to cause chaos unhindered while we all fight each other, and they brazenly move their operations down south North ,south east and west, fulani and the rest of Nigeria we all have a common enemy, they are the bandits that ravage our lqnd,we need to sit together and find a way to seive them out from our midst, the narrative matters, because only then can we work together.Silly solutions like "defend yourselves" just scratches the surface. How does a man defend his family from a marauding team with Ak 47s? We need real solutions that deal with this at the root and not ethnic or religious inflamed messages Lastly it is our moral duty to speak the truth,it happened in Europe, an entire race (jews)were vilified and killed in millions because of the goading words of a few.I will conclude with the story of Paul.Although he did not throw the stones he held the clothes for those who did making him culpable in the death of the saints By spinning the wrong narratives we will not find a solution, also for those supporting and edging on genocide against an entire race with Innocents within them (fulani herdsmen) remember by your very words you are culpable in any deaths that occur and their blood will also be of such a person's head |

The deaths no longer matter to us... It's how the deaths were reported that does. #messed up country |

buhariguy:the reason people still football today because the organizers is trying to be neutral. When the same crime committed by different individuals and judge pass different judgement for the same crime on the individual .it will raise eyebrows from people. Our main problem is that we lacks justice. We should treat all murderer or criminal as the same. Police shouldn't be a judge.minister shouldn't be a judge. Apprehend any criminal Court will pass judgment. In game of football , referee don't justify your revenge just because your opponent gave you bad tackling. 1 Like |
