But the Emperor Oluwo Telu Adewale Akanbi reigned curses and threats to a man who has played a major role in building Iwo over 2 decades before the Oluwo was born. Oluwo claims he's above the law:
The only monarch in Africa to publicly say he his above the courts of the country, despite he was wanted in court to answer to fraud & Yahoo Yahoo charges. He abused the fragile court system in Osun and dared any court or police in Nigeria to arrest him. This further weakened the institutions of the land. "I am bigger than any court in Nigeria" – Oluwo of Iwoland. The Oluwo of Iwoland has told the judiciary in Osun State that he is above the law and can even arrest the judges or security agencies if need be.

Oluwo with a message from god - [September 2016]
Once Nigerians hear God they become gullible, especially the educated once. The Oluwo got frustrated when Obas in Yorubaland didn't submit to him, immediately after his coronation. Then it followed by a failed public outcry for all Yoruba monarchs to assemble under the Oluwo for a special message from god. Eventually, the City People magazine worked with Oluwo to have a smaller version in his palace. It was at this event the Oluwo took time to mock both Pastor Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo. He then continued by emphasizing his claim that Obas are the representatives of God and the Pastors are messengers only. An attempt to make people listen and pay dues more to Obas than Pastors. The Oluwo was successful in bullying some Pastors and Imams in Iwo to submit such to him, but churches and mosques in neighbouring towns have ignored the Oluwo. The unauthorized extra tax he collects is only paid by a few.

Spiritual Contradictions and Ignoramus Tendencies:
The Oluwo is in the habit of bastardizing Yoruba historical faith system but promotes Islam and Christianity which both also have several historical bloodsheds in the name of those religions. Yoruba traditional faith system, like any other faith system, had those who used such for good and some who used it for evil. Oba Tulu the Oluwo claims the traditional faith system should be abandoned as he continues to harass people based on their choice of faith. When the Oluwo wanted to be installed as Oba he participated in all rituals related to Ogun and other ancestral rights according to tradition. When he wanted to reign curses on others, he bragged about the ancestral Spirits living inside him and how he can send them to destroy his enemies. He also claims he has traditional powers to stop rain and much more. The same religion and Tradition of the Yorubas that the Oluwo is destroying, is the same faith and gods that provided safety and sanctuary for the Yorubas for thousands of years before the Europeans introduced Christianity and Fulanis/Arabs introduced Islam what is now called Nigeria.

Oluwo Got Award to Promote Avoided Jail Term:
Oluwo got the City People magazine to create an award for him and as expected they did. They gave him "Royal Father of the Year" despite two months earlier he was wanted in court for fraud cases but thank god the state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, Obasanjo and some elders stopped the case because it will be a disgrace to a Yoruba throne.

The Private Jet Lie [Omo Oju ori ola-ri]:
Oluwo also lied he owns a private jet but in truth, he was exposed to travel in one by a northern Nigerian Emir and the plane does not belong to Oluwo. This lie was told at a private but his only exposure to a jet was broadcasted via media, while the real owners of the jet never took pictures to share despite they have had such lifestyle for years.

Oluwo claims he is Modern day Afonja:
The Oluwo continues to fight the majority of the Yoruba Obas ahead of him but submits to the Fulanis 100%. Oluwo Adewale Akanbi continues to boast to do to Oyo far more than what Afonja started. Ilorin was a war camp for the Oyo empire, headed by the Are-Ona Kakanfo Afonja. Oyo empire lost focus in the 1800's due to internal fighting, then Afonja partnered with the Fulanis to wage war to destroyed Oyo before converting Ilorin into a Fulani Caliphate. As faith will have it, the Fulanis killed Afonja once the mission was completed. Presently the Fulanis continue to accord the Oluwo into strategies to further destabilize the Yoruba leadership. And why Oluwo recently attacked the Alaafin.

Identity Crisis of a disturbed King:
This is the only monarch that has publicly changed his name over 7 times within 2 years of becoming an Oba. He is also the Only Oba who insists the media must put "1st Class Monarch" before his name, despite he is not a first class Oba in Yorubaland. He once changed his title from the traditional Yoruba title to Emperor. Then to Supreme Leader. Then he added doctorate and many others. To further attack the Ooni he changed his "Royal Oríkì" [Royal Praise Poetry] to belittle the Ooni of Ife. Since Ooni is called “Igbakeji Orisa“ then Oluwo recently branded himself as "Alashe Lori Orisha". The Oluwo went further to publicly say the Ooni is not the Ooni of Yorubaland but of Ife only, and he has his domain and I have my domain. The Fulanis never fight authority in their monarch system but can easily expose some promises to a lesser Oba to destroy the Yoruba leadership.

Oluwo's Failed Attempts To Dethrone Other Royals: - [Multiple Times Since April 2016]
Within his first 9 months as King, the Emperor Oluwo banned, bullied and made attempts to remove another king, claiming the other king was rude and he is senior to him. He's men vandalized a neighbouring king's SUV and much more. The Oluwo has tried to remove other royal fathers beyond his powers. He is so power drunk, he has made attempts to banish Baales and chiefs.

How true...bloggers can fabricate any story

I am not used to criticizing royalties but I have reservations against the Oluwo.

The news was he is a yahoo guy before he became king. While he has dispelled this rumour, his actions are unbecoming of a king.

He has been accused of sending his boys to vandalise a property belonging to his perceived enemy. He has attacked the Ooni saying the Ooni of Ife ordered his guards to push him at an event in PH.

He wants to become relevant by attacking people.He even tried to rewrite history by saying it was Iwo who used to give kings to the people of Ibadan in the past.

He is the most controversial king in Nigeria today.

Keeping fingers crossed and watching how they are spreading oluiwo's dirty boxers outside in the sun.
