The Presidency has debunked claims on social media that President Buhari’s son, Yusuf, has died.

There were reports on social media early this morning that Yusuf, who survived a ghastly motorbike accident in December last year and is currently receiving medical attention in a German hospital, had passed on.


The Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, took to her twitter page to debunk the report saying news is fake.

Although Yusuf's father is the reason for the current agony and hunger in the land, I will not wish the innocent boy evil.

However, he needs to continually plead for God's mercy so that God does not visit his father's wickedness on him. If he's not in a position to do that, his mother and siblings should stand in the gap for him by pleading with God

Why would the family hide his death if he's really dead. I wish him well and speedily recovery. May God healing powers visit him. Amen
