it's a simple process only that many people are dubious by nature

1.
approach the lady you intend to marry

2.
after she has agreed to your proposal, it's a must for you to find out about her people, hometown and friends (meaning you've to follow her to her place)

3.
after knowing her place, you and like 2 or 3 of your elders, will go for knocking/introduction with a bottle of gin, remember the gin is compulsory (if you don't have time to start run about to buy the things required, you can monetize the required items

4.
if you were accepted, you gin we be collected from you and their LIST will be handed over to you, now you'll fix a date with them when you'll come back to full fill the content of the LIST (that is if you don't want to make too much noise) or you make that day you and your in-laws fixed a happening day (Traditional Marriage) don't forget the items must be present on that day
NB. if you choose to go by the first option (by not making noise), you can also choose to monetize the items on the LIST, where you have a chance to bargain how much to provide

5.
you are free to take your wife home with you
don't forget to throw a small welcome party for her on getting home

the Lord God Almighty is your strength
