When Google offered $550 million to purchase Yelp, Yelp walked away saying it had another offer.

Looks like the other offer was Microsoft. According to Peter Burrows at BusinessWeek, Yelp had "a bid north of $700 million from Microsoft."

Yelp turned down both offers, taking a $100 million investment from Elevation Partners that values the company at $475 million.

Yelp CEO Jeremy Stoppelman explains to Peter why he turned down the offers: "Yelp has the chance to become one of the great Internet brands, That for me is the chance of a lifetime."

The owner better not have a wife. Over here, you do not get money from your husband if you are separated  or divorced from him, if he or she wins a lottery.  You get zero dollar.

It is called separate property, you can only claim from martial property, not from separated property. So if this Jeremy Stoppelman was separated, he get to keep his money. $700 million

you ask silly question.

Nigerian mostly think, there is no money in website.

This are google building around the world and some cheque given to people by google. Who do you think google built does building,  where do you think they got the money from.

The cheque are real.  how will you feel holding $90,000 in one month.  I doubt if an engineer or proffessor or Accountant or lawyer makes that in thier life time.

My dear sister. When you see mice running after dog, you know the mice have seen something, he does not want to tell people.

So if you think website dont make money, go and tell BILL GATE to closed down Hotmail.com , msn.com , Bing.com . Do you think Bill gate is a silly man He has money more than your father.

Seun is just using you people to make money. He is getting paid from those AD you see on his website. they are paying him money for it. That why he edit your post, so that you keep coming back.

Look at that cheque or check $900,000 dollar. Will you like to have a husband or son in law that make $900,000 dollar in one month. Now do you think Globacom or shell or mobil pays its worker. $900,000 a month
