Greetings, Please I need an advice on swapping Acura MDX engine with Sienna engine because of the gearbox problem. I'm afraid of changing the gearbox its may still give same slipping problem. It is from this forum I learnt that the transmission of 2001 is always like that, please should I go a head with the swapping or there's another alternative, the engine is perfectly ok. |

You just want to take your life by your self. The j32 in tbe Acura is more solid than Siennas 1MZ. The acura is a good car. If your transmissing aka gear box is bad . go ahead and replace it with a good one. Or sell it like that and buy a sienna if thats what you have feelings for.. If you try and do this trash you call conversion. You'd terribly hate yourself. A car like mdx with lots of modules and technology you want to swap the engine. Smh. 3 Likes

BTW if u see manage to undertake this project amidst several cautions don't forget to change ur moniker when u r creating a thread that sienna engine refused to start in MDX and snake swallowed ur MDX gearbox cos u will literally ask urself : "I THY NO" |
