Ambode Spent N12bn To Power Street Lights In One Year
by Omooba77 : 8:39pm On Mar 06
@Gidi_Traffic The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, has said that his administration has spent about N12bn on power in one year. He said that the money is used in buying diesel to power street lights which has a total of 31,446 in the state.
The Governor made this known while speaking at the Lagos Means Business event which was held at Victoria Island, Lagos state.

Breakdown

An average of N1bn per month; N330mn everyday;: N10,494 per street light per day....Eko oni baje ju bayi lo o

How can ₦10,500 be used to power one Street light a day; meaning one street light will singly consume about 60 litres of diesel per day.

...a case of astonishing fraud.

So this is just for diesel contract. Do these people appreciate that we know arithmetic?

Who are the contractors? Who supplies this diesel?

See how the taxes are being wasted like rain water. ‍♀

Oga, where did you get this amount from? He said about 34,000 street lights, even if they are 31,446 as quoted, let do the Arithmetic together;
12,000,000,000/12 =1,000,000,000/Month
1,000,000,000/30 = 33,333,333.333/day for 31,446 lights (excluding traffic lights)
Amount per light per day =33,333,333.333/31,446 = 1,060.
The Government spends 1,060 on each light/day.
Simple Arithmetic.

Which is still too much to me, government can seek alternative energy sources for the lightings.
I am not holding brief for any political office holder, just standing for the truth.

Hello everyone please whoever knows this woman should give us information on how to get her. She came to our lekki store to steal money from another customer’s bag, after distracting by giving her a dress to try out for her. Please tag people until she’s been exposed and caught. Thank God for our camera that caught her. The money was 250k.From the video you can see the way she dropped clothes on the handbag and took the envelope that contained 250k. She’s the lady on white and black that packed her hair .My dear people please let’s join hand and expose this lady cause she stole the money from a 19yr old girl’s bag. It’s quite painful that a matured lady could steal from a little girl that’s old enough to be her daughter at this economic situation. Pls kindly help us to repost till she gets caught.
