INTRODUCING THE ASSOCIATION OF POSTER DISTRIBUTORS OF LAGOS STATE, (APD)

The Association of Poster Distributors of Lagos State, APD, was established in February, 2012, with the following mandates:

- to provide safe, dynamic and environmental friendly means of poster/bridge/street advertising in Lagos state.

- to register suitable and qualified poster practitioners and maintain a register of such registered Member-Companies which shall be updated and published periodically.

- to practice (Small Format) Poster Advertising in conformity with Lagos State Signage Law and Industry guidelines.

- to develop and maintain standard for Small Format Poster Advertising in Lagos state.

- to support LASAA in stamping out indiscriminate and indecent poster pasting in Lagos state.

- to cooperate with other bodies and Associations in furtherance of mutual interests.

- to promote and support the effort of the Lagos State Ministry of The Environment in promoting a cleaner and healthier Lagos.

The association is a brain-child of LASAA. The agency brought all the poster advert practitioners together and encouraged them to form a union and this gave birth to APD; The Association of Poster Distributors of Lagos state.

The association is made-up of well behaved and trained members that practice poster advertising in decent ways and manner.

The association currently enjoy the support and recognition of LASAA.
