Our fore fathers gave us some impression and assertions as touching certain conditions and situation. Over the years, we seem to have lived in those impressions and adhere strictly to the postulations without questioning the credibility of such....

Do you think it's a foolish act to execute(carry out) such questioning?

Let me me prove you right or wrong by telling you this:
So many things They instilled in us which we blindly adhere to, is non-functional to this present generation.
Ask me why......

Our fore fathers were wise enough to design, carve out and decide on which best approach to solve their then problems, after taking an in-depth survey and satisfy diverse conditions such as; economy, weather, civilization, culture, personal and collective instincts/ opinion and the opinion of their gods.

You will agree with me that we've not done too well by dwelling in their then assertions rather, we could have just repeat their procedures of arriving at the conclusion instead of directly applying their archaic conclusion into matters arising in this 11th hour world.

You still think those old belief is the best, right? Indeed they were so amazing, those verdicts solved their immediate problems and subsequent ones. Those postulations kept us in track of good and healthy inter-personal relationship. Those impressions really made us belief in abstract things and amazingly, we psychologically feel the aftermath of violating their postulations....

We shall continue to be a fool if we don't desist from pouring new wine into old bottles..... What a barren effort..

You need to stand tall on your toes as an individual, take a critical look of your current position and device the best approach to tackle Your Own problem....apply the right procedures.....there is no need copying or imitating someone else's way to success ..... Continue to apply those archaic laws into your personal life and enjoy being a fool with two ears, two nostrils and two eyes.
