There was this seminar I attended. Somehow, I picked a permanent seat which I sat throughout the seminar.

There was this guy, good looking who did the same, he always sat infront of me.
During the course of the seminar, we got acquainted, we would discuss, have lunch together during break.

Then this day, we were strolling from the seminar gisting towards the road to board a bus when these two girls drove by and offered to drop him off. Dem no even send me, na so dem carry the guy waka o!

You said he seemed confused? How old is he? All he had to do was accept the ride on the grounds that his acquaintance(you) also gets a ride. Or just decline with a 'Thank you'. Anyways, the girls were 'beefing' you but the guy could have made a decision in your favor.
