Hello everyone,

while applying for the US visa, its stated to input your name the way it appears on the passport. Having two middle names on the middle its rejecting one. The embassy and the VFS centre has said to input only one middle name. Hope this wont be an issue, because sometimes you are turned back at the gates for the craziest of reasons.
The contacts at the VFS centre is ringing and no one is picking up.

Advice pls.

You should be able to explain that you have two middle names and the system only takes one,But if you are turned back its probably because the visa can not be granted when the names on the application does not match the passport

You will need to go and change your passport to indicate one name and not two . US embassy has nothing to do with that . The general principle is that you have one Middle name . I have never heard of VFS or the Consular ofice in Lagos responding to calls .

actually, they did pick up the phone at the VFS. And said it was my appication form that mattered and not the confirmation of the appointment letter.
