In addition, other videos of stars of the current music scene, such as Shakira, Taylor Swift or Drake have also been affected, leaving some of the creations unused for their reproduction in the most popular video network in the world.

In the case of the song of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, in addition, the cybercriminals have changed the cover that is currently shown (although the video clip cannot be reproduced) and have replaced it with a photograph of the series Money Heist.

Although it is still unknown to what extent the attack has transpired, that the affected channels belong to VEVO in its entirety hints that perhaps the vulnerability is located in the manager itself on YouTube as such. For the time being no statements have been made by either party, but it is expected that some information about it will be issued in the next few hours.

One of the authors seems to be Proxox, the Twitter user, who has been commenting on this action with his followers during the last few hours. The controversial tweets have already been removed from their profile.
