I surely hope the OP is not trying to mix up Inyass and the Holy Prophet in the above statement cos they are not the same. Inyass is the guy from Senegal that some people will be committing shrik by plastering his pictures everywhere and claiming to be use it for protection. And even going to the extreme of bowing down to his picture which could be likened to the Highest form of shrik.

And even if they claim to be celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet its still not permitted as we never ever read it from the Hadith, Sahaba or the prominent four imams doing it.

Hence people should kindly desist from it... We have neither completed the obligatory duty nor sunnah but people be jumping on the band wagon of innovative duties...SMH.

In btw is gray area, doubt, permissible etc. If Allah made something Halal it will always be Halal and the evidence is clear from kitab and sunnah. If Allah made something Haram it will always be Haram and evidence is clear from kitab and sunnah. So since you claimed this is Haram, do you mind giving us your evidence?. Allaah says:
