For this Buhari regime?

That's akin to jackpots for those 860 staff. Christmas came early and they should invest the payments wisely.

Kudos to the supreme court / justices.

My fellow Nigerians, one good reason why we should vote for President Muhammadu is because he is a truthful man and a man of integrity and as the saying goes "Only those who love you will tell you the truth".
He just said the truth that Nigerians youth are uneducated and lazy, it is now left for Nigerian youths to go to school properly not graduating from university and you cannot spell "Boiys", be creative not studying electrical engineering and you cannot fix common bulb and be hardworking not graduating from school and waiting for government to provide everything because we are an oil producing country.
TO SUM IT UP, MY FELLOW COUNTY PEOPLE, LET'S COME TOGETHER AND SUPPORT THE MAN WHO REALLY MEANS WELL FOR NIJERIA.

After 18 good years?I am sure some of the affected workers must have died due to stress. We are really incapable of running a civilised society. Very useless judiciary system feeding fat on vital cases that should have been concluded even with clear evidences. Most multinationals currently are guilty of abnormal practices due to our weak labour laws and the fact that they can bribe most of them. Most of these oil companies misbehaving here cannot try the cheating in even smaller African Countries otherwise they will be shut down.Nigeria is really a shithole

No it wont. They will wait for a month or two for Mobil to pay. If mobil fails, the workers through their lawyers will initiate garnishee proceedings. This will freeze all of mobil's accounts in all the banks in Nigeria.

The lawyer that won this case right now!

Imagine if he received 30% of the amount they won

Let us say each policeman received $20,000 settlement, that will be $17,200,000 in total

The lawyer collects 30% of that- $5,160,000

sometimes some people say we don't have justice in Nigeria and some pple will be wondering why?

i ask u op ..how many of the 860 sacked worker 18-years ago are still alive today...and even if they are still there...in what condition of life?

this judgement makes a mockery of social justice...and drains the hope of the common-man....that the ma with money can drag the case

for as many years as possible!...shame of a nation!...why has our justice refused often to have a human face?...i say shame!
