Senator (Dr.) Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke popularly referred to as “the dancing senator” has attributed his dancing to show how happy people of his state are.
We reported that Davido‘s uncle and B-Red‘s father Senator Adeleke is vying for the post of the governor of Osun state come September 22, 2018.

Senator Adeleke who announced his intention to run for the coming gubernatorial election in Osun state is known by his dancing at major events.

One of his dancing occasions is at a church believed to be in the US in 2017 when he outshined the congregation even the choir of the church.

Another occasion was when he won the senatorial seat in Osun state in place of his late brother Sen. Isiaka Adeleke.

The senator was also slammed when a socio-political group attacked him online for his dancing in March 2018 saying, “The routine dance of the Senator representing Osun West senatorial district is becoming a big embarrassment for people of his constituency and Nigerians as a whole.”

“The place of the legislature in a democracy is too important and serious for any of its members to resort to a mere entertainer and official dancer.”

In response to his penchant to burst into dancing at the sound of music, he made a video where he gave the reason for his usual dancing as portraying the happiness of the people of Osun state.

In the video, he also laid out his achievements while being a senator highlighting all he did for the benefit of the people in Osun state.

The video which was meant to aid his campaign strategy was posted on the social media page of his nephew Davido with the caption “Make OSUN Great again!!! Vote @IsiakaAdeleke1 next Governor OSUN STATE !!”
