Riddle me this, but isn't the software bundled in the USB drive already? Why do you need to download it explicitly

Anyway, this is a dated thread.

Anyway, this is a dated thread.

Sometimes the software on the usb disk get corrupt, if the setup is unable to copy a even a single file for installation, the setup terminate n you'll be unable to use the MODEM unless ofcos you download explicitly and run the setup.

Just get the mtn cutomimised huawei modem from any body, plug it to your system, copy or run the setup. Now return modem to the owner, come back and plug your modem and do what sweets you.
