May not be what you think. The career span of a coach far exceeds that of a player but the job span is far shorter. So its more like spreading value over time but managing risk (of costly compensations) when the short-termish decision arises to fire. The likes of Pep and Zizou have reallymade soccer pay. Both made mega bucks as players and almost immediately are making mega bucks as young managers. You can imagine if a CR7 or a Lionel Messi begins to earn these wages soon after their on pitch careers end and go on as long as the likes of Sir Alex or Arsene.

Oga, so you know better than France Football, the magazine that gives the Balon D'Or Award. Atletico built a new stadium and are partly owned by a Chinese multinational company. they are not run on any lean budget.

This is a list from France Football. They are not pathetic bloggers. They are like the Forbes of football. Chinese clubs no longer pay huge salaries to all and sundry with the new rules in place.
