If you really want to know who is sending most of the money back, check the group with the biggest diaspora outside of Nigeria.

Check the region that has the highest amount of real estate growth.

Check the region with the lowest poverty level according to UN

Check the region that has the best childhood nutrition according to UNICEF

Check the safest region according to United Nations.

Check the region with he highest literacy rate.

This is why amidst a recession Nigeria's economy appeared technically robust.

That's 8 trillion naira!

2017 budget was 7.3 trillion!

Diaspora Nigerians remitted funds in excess of our National budget!

Slavery has taken a new shape.

i did a rough calculation
70 % of the remiitances is about $15.4B and if these is remitted to the 7 igbo states and the other south south states .
This will be about N5.544 Trillion this is by far more than 10 times bigger than the budget of Lagos and Ogun state combined and far bigger than the budget of the whole North combined this is more than 70% of the useless National budget of the APC Govenrment of which they are plannng to sell Ajaokuta Steel complex and borrow money from china and india to fund.

What this means that the Diasporan Igbo is more powerful than any state Goverment in Nigeria and can be more powerful than the APC federal Government , Igbos remit more money than the Nigeria's Defence Budget.in fact the Diasporan Igbos can fund a govenrment and a military more powerful than the federal Government from the diaspora.

What i am saying in effect is that the Diasporan igbos are a very powerful economic force and can and should be ready when occasion calls

This can fund any business incubation network and can sustain all the eastern factories producing at full blast.

what igbos need to enforce is that every cent of that money sent is spent in the eastern economy vis a vis spending to bolster the eastern economy .

Diasporan Igbos are indeed a powerful economic block on their own and the best kept secret of igbo success in modern day Nigeria.
