HOW TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL ADMISSION PROCESS

After passing Jamb irrespective of your score it is a commendable feat, the next step is either Post Utme or Screening.
According to the Federal Government which passed a bill ending of march about the total scrapping of Post Utme that screening should only be done, the government as been quiet about it since, for you not to get caught off I would prefer you to start preparation for both.

STEPS ON HOW TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL ADMISSION

1. JAMB SCORE: Don’t think because you have a good jamb score of like 280 then you are relenting in your preparation for Putme people with 300+ are reading day and night, and don’t always be too proud of your score, most people with higher jamb score don’t always show off, there are always cool when putme comes out you will see the gurus among gurus, Be Humble.

2. JAMB SUBJECT: Most time I see aspirant for Law, Medical Courses asking if there are going to write Math’s, what you wrote in your Jamb Subject is still the same you are to write in your Post Utme Exam.

3. O’LEVEL: Last year people were denied admission due to wrong O’Level, all the subject you wrote in Jamb you must have credited them in your O’Level with another relevant subject, to complete the required O’Level. So it is better to know your school requirement before opting for a course, Some School have special O’Level requirement for each Faculty e.g. Further Mathematics is needed in Unilag for all Engineering Courses, while other University require either Biology or Further Mathematics.
Note: Agricultural Science / Geography is not considered a science course in most university when opting for engineering or physical science course; it is only in environmental science that geography is an added advantage for O’Level.

4. PUTME SCOPE OF EXAM: Knowing the scope of exam makes it easy during preparation for the exam, that why the universities always provide a past question for preparation and knowing how they set their examination. Most University don’t allow calculator unlike jamb were there is a calculator in the software of the exam, so you have to learn how to calculate with decimals, trig ratios and other mathematical signs to avoid consumption of your time. Practice makes perfect.

5. PAST QUESTION DEPENDECY: Never depend that when you cram all the past question that the exam will be given from the past question, like I said earlier past question is just for you to get familiar with the scope of exam, read you textbooks before embarking on past question, to be able to know you level of answering questions, and always get corrections for the ones you get wrong, to be able to be familiar with answer, so that next time when you have a similar problem like that you will be able to answer them with ease.

If you need past question you can comment in the comment section with your email,University and department because I have past question in pdf format there are free no charges .
