No, we're not stuck with them because of sim cards. We have different sim cards for data but the truth is that they are still the preferred choice when you look at the price, data and stable connection. By the time you compare the four major networks, mtn still take the lead.

This makes sense though. I was always angry at MTN because it was very expensive to purchase and use their data but I guess it isn't for everyone. People complaining are supposed to look for other competitors and try their internet service, thats was actually the idea behind this whole cost issue.

Exactly, Glo, airtel or 9 mobile can't compete with them, where I get like 40-180kb/sec on Glo, I get 800kb/sec-1.23mb/sec on mtn and at night I get up to 2.30mb/sec.

They are leading in terms of call and data.

If i try to call with my Glo line, I'll have to try the number 3-4 times before it goes through unlike mtn which is once.
