A salon car ascending a hilly road in Owerri, Imo state, lost control and fell into the stream along 3rd Inland road along Orient TV/Concorde road this afternoon. The Commissioner for Public Safety, Prince Chidi Nwaturuocha who was at the scene - called a towing van which immediately came and rescued the partially-submerged vehicle. See pictures below;

We don't manufacture cars. You cannot manufacture brake pads. You can't even make any single part/equipment of a car. (Can you make one light bulb?) Everything we need must be imported.
This costs a lot of money. Money you need from a job. Job that we don't have.

The crude oil we used to sell to get the dollars is no longer required. (It's not even you selling the crude oil) And we offer nothing else of value in exchange for the dollars. That is why new imported things are very expensive for the average person. The cost is passed down from the importer to the seller and unto you.
