Focus: Money! A Master

WORD FOR TODAY
One of those things that stand in between God and several men is money. Your service is not acceptable to God until you are free from various issues that defile a man on the account of money!!!

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6:24 NKJV)

Jesus said money itself is a master. It is a major opposition to serving God among several others. Money is the reason why many people chose not to serve God. It is also, the reason why many who claim to be serving God are doing so with soiled hands and a guilt in their hearts.

Many people will never consider doing the will of God with respect to marital choice, career and academic pursuit and ministerial mandate because of the love for money. The case of many who used to be fervent in their relationship with God is now like that of Adam who He asked "Where are you?". This is because Master money has taken them away from their place of consecration.

Your integrity, discipline, love, values, standard and character will be validated based on money as you proceed on the pathway of destiny. Your attitude towards money is a factor that determines how you can be trusted and what God will place in your hands.

Lord! Take away everything coming between me and you. Make me a master over money in Jesus name. Amen!!!
