The issue..i drive a honda accord 2005..v4..on a good day, i decided to use my mini car scanner to scan my car and it came up with the following codes....p0141( 02 sensor heater circuit, bank 1 sensor 2) p1157..it did not give any description...P0010("A" camshaft position actuator circuit bank 1)...All this codes were in red,,,meaning,,,current fault,,it also gave another code in green,,meaning,,,pending fault...p0507(idle control system RPM higher than expected.... Please guys, how do i go about this..i need to get these codes cleared..i have cleared the codes with my scanner and it came back the same.... NB..the car drives fine..vibrates silently in park, reverse and neutral, but in drive...its vibrations becomes a little more pronounced..but not violent,...just a little vibration.. i call upon all the car gurus super squad to come to my aid.. captainking: .Confirm if all the wiring connected to O2 sensors are intact, if ok, replace these 2 sensors p0141 p1157 Check wires connected to both cam sensors, 1 is loose(never seen a honda accord cam shaft die) P0010 Some one fiddled with the butterfly reset it back. p0507 2 Likes |

captainking: I think bank 1 is driver side so check the second o2 sensors like the one under the car see if the wire is damaged ,repair and insulated with proper electric tape then check and replace e the burnt o2 heater fuse. Clean your throttle body and idle air control valve than might help with idle. I don't know what your cam sensor looks like now but find an engine diagram inspect wiring first then connection just I case oil leak got into it 2 Likes |

captainking: Remember that it is a circuit fault so you new to Chen the integrity of sitting and connection. Sometimes all you have to do is disconnect and reconnect because the last person did connect the plug properly. I am not sure how many camshaft you should have in your 4 cyl, check to make sure you have the right ecu number ad no vacuum leak from cracked hoses 1 Like |

Kindly check the integrity of all connections, then your wiring to these sensors. It is more of a circuit problem. VTC solenoids on the K24 engines fitted to this car rarely goes bad. This would be in the least of my suspicions. 1 Like |

yes...i forgot to mention this yesterday...those guys at ikoku and mechanic village in stadium road wanted to play me...not knowing that they jam better lagos boy...someone who claimed to deal in honda parts was called to help me source for oxygen sensor,,,upstream and downstream,,,so the mecho there pulled out my sensors...and gave to the parts seller to go to ikoku to get the sensors,,,can you believe that the guy went to ikoku..changed only the down sensor..of course,,,they used my cable and attached the head of the sensor to it..thats not even the problem ...the problem is that,,,,the ikoku guy gave me back my sensor...claiming it to be a new toks sensor he bought and applied yellow paint to it..based on toks level just as is done in oyingbo and ladipo...when i examined the sensor...i laughed and told him that i am keeping the sensor and would not pay for it,,,since he returned back my sensor painted...then i showed him a picture of my sensors..not knowing that i took pictures of both sensors at close range before he took it to ikoku... ..anyway..i made him installl the down sensor and it worked cos the code for the down sensor cleared and hasnt come back since then...i still havent paid him....told him that i aint paying him till he gets a a good and working upstream sensor else...thats his punishment for trying to scam me... these people shaa.....nurey..obiekediamondfuto, specialist900, kingreign, timifakay...i tire oo 2 Likes |
