A truck must had spilled diesel or a car lost traction due to worn out tyres or very harsh emergency braking

Confusion everywhere.
Everything is wrong with my country...
The process at which we get drivers license explains this daily accident...
The process at which the FRSC officer are employed explained the process at which the earlier is handled.
The process at which we vote our politicians explains the state of our road.
The state at which our mind thinks is the enemy of the country.

I drove past this very bridge yesterday and this same thing almost happened. A fully loaded tanker coming behind me failed brakes and they had to clear the vehicles in front while they diverted us to another lane.

The driver of the tanker had to slowly grind the tyres of the tanker against the bridge side culverts in order for the friction to slow down the tanker. There were area boys clearing the road in front of the tanker in case the inevitable crash happened.

Those tankers usually have faulty brakes which disappoints them. Many people have died in that particular portion of the bridge butLastma officers are aware of this but they don't do anything about this madness.

Driving in Lagos can be really scary. A lot of unfit and mentally unbalanced people behind the wheels + worn out cars/parts that they drive + the poor condition of roads.

It's a blessing to drive around Lagos and never been involved in an accident.
