'As the deadly group continued to unleash attacks on the innocence farmers across Benue state and it environs, three persons were in the early hours of today attacked and killed by the infamous Fulani herdsmen in Mbalagh ward, Makurdi local government area of Benue state. It will be recalled that, on Tuesday this week the same group attacked and killed three persons on motorcycle along Makurdi- Naka road who were returning from the mass burial of the two Catholic priests and 17 worshippers who were murdered by herdsmen in the Church in Ayati community.
This killings is coming shortly after the Vice President visit to Makurdi the Benue state capital where he promised to put a stop to the killings ensuring that the good people of Benue who are displaced during the attacks will soon return to their homes.

The people of Mbalagh are calling on the state government and the relevant authorities to come to their aid, to beef up security in the area in order to prevent further attacks from the Fulani herdsmen'.
